Frequently Asked Questions

Briefpoint is free to download and use.
I only ask that you email me and let me know how you're using it.

Briefpoint is currently only available for Windows, but Linux and ARM (e.g. Raspberry Pi) are coming soon.
I am working on a distribution for Mac.

Not at all! Briefpoint only retrieves APRS messages. It does not send or transmit them. You can listen all day without a license.

I want you to be able to use Briefpoint error free. If you are experiencing a problem or seeing errors or other anomolies, please let me know (n7tms@yahoo.com) and I'll do everything in my power to get it resolved as soon as possible.

Absolutely! I am committed to making Briefpoint the best it can be. Although I probably can't make Briefpoint everything for everyone, I will certainly listen seriously to your suggestions.

I do accept donations of any amount via a PayPal link on RexburgHams.org -- whatever you feel the software is worth to you.
I also like reviews. If you consent to having your review posted on the Spurpoint or Briefpoint website, let me know.
Even if you do not want your review posted, I'd still be interested to know what you think.
